N–12 Pipe has built an impressive service record in storm water and other drainage applications where hydraulics are important and durability is critical.

It is designed for use under both H26 and E80 live loads, or with fill heights of 50 feet or more. In fact, field research shows the pipe performing well at depths exceeding 100 feet. With its superior abrasion and corrosion resistance, it has become an excellent alternative to concrete and metal pipe.
N–12's light weight leads to a number of job site economics: more pipe per delivery truck, easier handling, smaller crews, less heavy equipment, less pipe damage, and better safety. The pipe cuts easily and requires no beveling for joining.

N–12 WT IB's polymer composite joint combined with HDPE's excellent abrasion and corrosion resistance, produces a joint with excellent strength. The wide proprietary polymer composite is fused to the outside wall of the built–in bell, improving the joint's integrity and tolerance control.

With its integral built–in bell and factory-installed gasket, the pipe requires no extra couplers, grout or other sealants to install. The joint meets or exceeds ASTM 3212 lab test and ASTM C969 watertight field test, which helps fill an essential role in meeting the new, stricter/environmental Protection Agency guidelines.
